A Tradition of Giving Back

For Bastionpoint Technology, supporting Toys for Tots is more than a seasonal initiative. It reflects a company-wide commitment to community and service.

“Supporting Toys for Tots is something we started doing several years ago, and it’s become a tradition we’re proud of,” said Eric Clary, COO of Bastionpoint Technology. “Our employees rally together to help fill several boxes each year. This year, thanks to the passion and leadership of our newest team member, Jack Raymondson, we’re expanding our efforts to make an even greater impact.”

A Legacy of Service

Raymondson, a longtime Richmond community leader and advocate for Toys for Tots, has been involved with the program since the 90’s. His dedication runs deep. His son also served as a National Ambassador for Toys for Tots in 2024.

“Toys for Tots is more than just a holiday campaign; it’s a mission of hope,” said Jack Raymondson. “Having seen its impact for decades, I know firsthand the difference it makes in the lives of children and families. Bringing that commitment to Bastionpoint Technology is an honor.”

Why Toys for Tots Matters

Founded in 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has distributed more than 652 million toys to over 291 million children in need. Locally, the program ensures that children in the Greater Richmond Area experience the joy of the holiday season, regardless of financial hardship.

How to Get Involved

Bastionpoint Technology encourages individuals, families, and local businesses to join in supporting this year’s campaign:

  • Community Members: Drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Bastionpoint Technology’s Manchester office through December 2.
  • Business Leaders & Partners: Bastionpoint Technology offers additional collection boxes and will coordinate delivery and pickup for participating businesses.
  • Our Clients: Bastionpoint Technology’s existing clients may request a collection box delivered directly to their workplace for convenience.

Looking Ahead

“The holidays can be especially challenging for families in need, but together we can make a difference,” Clary added. “Every toy donated stays here in Richmond, and every contribution helps brighten a child’s holiday season.”

Bastionpoint Technology invites the Richmond community to help make 2025 its most successful Toys for Tots drive yet.
